Imagine. Finishing another February Lady Sweater in February. Never mind that it’s taken almost a year to actually complete it! It’s off the needles and gifted to my very special goddaughter.
This is my second go round at this pattern. The first was completed with a very chunky yarn and I followed the pattern more faithfully with the lace bottom. This one I kept with straight stockinette. It’s knit with our own island yarn, Freshisle Fibers Double Down yarn, size 4 mm needles and the large size to actually get the right measurements for a small. It was knit with the natural wool and then once the sweater was completed, I hand dyed it with acid dyes to get just that right shade of pink. I hope!
It’s so cuddly and soft and warm. Pretty February sweater for a pretty February lady!
