Masks

Interesting times. Living through history.

Knitting continues, dyeing wool continues, making soap continues, and sewing. Lots and lots and lots of sewing. My new Baby Lock ‘toy’ is getting way more use than I ever imagined.

I’m making masks. Many, many masks. For friends and family and others who inquire.

I’ve tried four different patterns, adjusted and tweaked until I’m finally happy with ones that fit comfortably and snugly. Staying safe!

We often think about what a wonderful place we are in our lives right now. We’re in the country, very remote and private. We have a large garden and jars and jars of canned food from that garden. We’re financially stable – mostly! We have no major health issues – so far! We’ve been through the stage of caring for elderly parents and coping with their deaths. We’re good. And, especially now. The pandemic has truly brought home to us just how good it really is.

I miss my friends. I miss my family. I even miss some dull council meetings! But, we’re good. Loads of hobbies, loads of past-times, loads of love.
